11th-12th Grade Physics
Course Description: Physics is a laboratory-based course that explores the fundamental principles of motion, forces, energy, waves, and electricity. Students use mathematical reasoning, experiments, and real-world applications to understand how the physical world works. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking. This course prepares students for advanced science study and STEM-related fields.
Classroom Work: primarily consists of labs and group activities
Homework: videos, textbook readings, research questions, at home quizzes and tests
Time Expectations: 1 hour daily
Lab fees: A required lab fee will be collected prior to the start of the school year.
Prerequisites: Students enrolling in Physics must have completed an Algebra I course.
