Course Description: This course explores the political, social, economic, and cultural development of the United States from pre-colonial America to the present. Students will examine key events, turning points, historical figures, and themes that have shaped the nation. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, analysis of primary and secondary sources, and connections between past and present.
Classroom Work: Discussion, group projects, presentations, activities & quizzes
Homework: Notes, comprehension questions, essays & projects
Time Expectations: 1 hour daily
